Internship Opportunities

Bronze Magazine is always looking for smart, motivated students, recent graduates or even non-college level adults (all intern positions are for 18+ years of age) who want to learn something new to fulfill our various unpaid internship positions. For all of our internships, the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines is crucial. We are currently seeking interns to fill the following positions for the Spring/Summer 2013:

 

Beauty and Fashion Bloggers (This is a virtual position)

We are seeking beautinistas and  fashionistas in NY, LA. Chicago and ATL to contribute blog posts about all the latest trends and styles in their city. Candidates must have a vast knowledge of the beauty and/or fashion industries as well as the latest trends and styles for ages 25-45.

Fashion Interns (NYC/Tri-State Resident Only)

We are seeking talented, reliable, outgoing and committed individuals to fulfill part-time internship positions as the Assistant to our Fashion Director.  Previous fashion experience is preferred but not required.

The individual will assist in all aspects of magazine campaigns. This includes, but is not limited to, photo shoot preparation, model booking, being a liaison between showrooms and the Fashion Director for styling purposes, answering calls, and in-field research. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must, and Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a strong bonus for candidates.

All qualified applicants MUST reside within the NYC/tri-state area. This position does not offer or provide relocation. Candidate must be able to provide own transportation for errands as well as to and from shoot locations and is expected to attend all shoots. The ability to multi-task and take direction is a MUST. Position is unpaid.

Graphic Design Intern (This is a virtual position)

We are seeking a self-motivated and responsible individual to assist with creative projects and administrative duties. The types of work may include but are not limited to assisting with digital/ print layout and design, text editing, photo retouching, promo/logo design, file management and website maintenance. The intern must be able to take art direction and work independently. Qualified applicants must be familiar with Adobe CS5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign), Microsoft Office 2010. Applicant must also have knowledge of design and layout principals, understanding of online multimedia including web and email, personable, outgoing self-starter with ability to work on own, detail oriented and works to deadline.

 On-Call Reporters (NYC/Tri-State Area Only)

We are seeking reliable, outgoing, friendly and stylish on-call reporters who are travel-ready (to all local areas) and can represent our magazine at various locales and events. Conduct interesting interviews with outstanding individuals who are making great strides within their communities, in business, and also in entertainment; report on stylish events such as fashion shows and beauty launches; or be creative and pitch a story idea of your own to the editor. Great position for models, freelance writers/journalists, bloggers, vloggers, etc.

Every Photographer and Videographer needs a start. Are you looking to attend various LIVE events in entertainment, fashion and beauty? Then start with us! We are seeking to add talented, reliable, committed, fun, and passionate individuals with a positive attitudes and amazing personalities to our amazing team. You must have your own professional equipment fully equipped with the obvious, (camera, video camera, microphone etc) and you must be responsible for your own transportation. The ideal candidate will be in charge of sound, lighting and all camera operations. Previous related experience is preferred.
